Experience Diego De La Vega’s masked alter-ego in battle against injustice and in the quest to win the favour of the beautiful Elena. The Mask of Zorro is, of course, based on the popular 1998 Hollywood film. The film has become something of an immortal classic, and the lead roles of Antonio Banderas, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Anthony Hopkins established their huge popularity with a seven-inch nail. Thankfully, they’re also featured in the slot version.
Today, you don’t need to see the movie to get a twist on the drama of our masked superhero. You can just play the slot machine of the same name. The game is peppered with elements from the movie, and the many familiar effects make the game an entertaining affair. By today’s standards, The Mask of Zorro might be a bit of a chick flick, but that’s okay.
You might be lucky enough to see Zorro put his famous Z over the waltz, creating extra wild symbols. Our hero can add 4, 7 or 10 wilds, and then the fun really starts! You can also get into the bonus game by landing three candlesticks on reels 1, 3 and 5. Not surprisingly, the bonus game requires you to crack the whip. Zorro may not be a textbook superhero, but in fact the story goes that he inspired the creators of Batman.
The Zorro slot is a fairly simple game, so if you haven’t mastered the symbols and paylines yet, this is a good bet.
Man of Steel – Superman Returns
Man of Steel slot is based on the Hollywood movie of the same name. Man of Steel from 2013 was Christopher Nolan’s attempt to reboot the Superman franchise after the huge success of the three Batman films. The film – and slot machine – stars Superman (Henry Cavill), Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and the villainous General Zod (Michael Shannon).
In the slot, the three leads are joined by Martha Kane (Diane Lane), Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Perry White (Laurence Fishburne) Faora-Ul (Antje Traue) and Jor-El (Russell Crowe). The cast is thus packed with Hollywood stars and does not let the film stand alone.
Just like the Batman v Superman game, this game is packed with extra goodies. If Superman and General Zod meet on the same roller coaster, you’ll burst into the Battle For Earth bonus game. You can also look forward to the Krypton free game. Here you’ll be rewarded with 7 free spins with boosted multipliers and a whopping 50 paylines. It sounds a bit complicated, and maybe it is. You’ll have to keep your tongue firmly in your cheek to keep up!
The Man of Steel game is also linked to the big DC Comics jackpots, which are described further up the page. This means that, in addition to all the above glories, you could just win £6 million on one lucky spin. What’s not to like?
If the movie was a bit of a disappointment, there’s comfort to be had in the Man of Steel slot. It doesn’t disappoint at all. You simply must try it.
